Days 2 and 3 were spent at work, where my uniform is black and white. This means that it’s going to be hard to avoid repetition with my work clothes, but we’ll see what I can do!

Do you recognise Day 2’s skirt? Yep, that’s the ankle length granny skirt that I got from the charity shop! Looks alright doesn’t it? The hem looks like it’s uneven at the front, it’s not in real life, honest! That’s a lot of gathering at the waist, making for a super pouffy skirt – sometimes I feel like a bit of a meringue though, but it’s fun for twirling! The top’s another charity shop bargain, doesn’t the ruffle remind you of the wonderful Coffee Date dress pattern? My headscarf is another amazing Lush recycled bottle knot wrap scarf, I’m utterly in love with them.

Today was a bit of a mad rush to get ready, and it was a bit of a panic finding a top. Never fear, I managed to find an old top of my Mum’s, panic over! I paired it with my self-stitched black pleated skirt – I have a feeling you’ll be seeing a lot of it! It’s such a comfortable skirt, I don’t know if I want to take it off!

Had to share my necklace too – Shottlebop is an innovative jewellery venture where, in their words, they ‘sell bottles with things in’. My necklace contains Mollification Serum, but you can have any concoction you like! Do check out their website, where you can order your own minature bottle on a chain.
It has to be said, I really can’t wait until my contact lenses can come back on the scene. I’ve been ordered to wear my glasses until next week because of an eye infection, and it’s driving me nuts. I’ve had to do Karate with my glasses on, sometimes going completely without, which has led to some special moments indeed.
I’ve been up to a bit more than just work these past two days though! Early this morning, my first article for Alternative Magazine Online went up!

So with my review of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, I am now officially a contribute to AMO! Please do check out my article, and keep your eyes peeled for more in the future!
